Journal Description

The Shifa Scientific-Research Journal of Medical Sciences, affiliated with Shifa University, is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal employing a double-blind review process. The journal is published biannually and operates under an open-access model. It focuses on the field of medical sciences and encompasses a broad range of clinical and paraclinical disciplines.


The primary mission of the journal is to promote and advance medical knowledge, enhance the quality of scientific research, provide an appropriate platform for the exchange of research findings among faculty members, researchers, health professionals, and students, and contribute to addressing healthcare challenges through the dissemination of credible evidence-based scientific findings. The journal is committed to strengthening the culture of research, expanding the frontiers of medical science, supporting the production of indigenous and applied knowledge, and facilitating the publication of scholarly achievements at both national and international levels.


The Shifa Scientific-Research Journal of Medical Sciences welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and other scholarly works relevant to its scope. Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been previously published in any other journal, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Following an initial editorial screening, all submissions undergo rigorous evaluation through a double-blind peer-review process in accordance with established academic and scientific standards.
